Treating tires for hoof and mouth
Stage 68 – Bush-camp to Nata
146 km, 5:22hrs, 27.5kph
A wickedly hard day with the boys and tricky gusty crosswinds, but I survived.
Rolled into lunch with 15 psi in front tired and aired it up. Riding was much easier but it blew the tire off the rim about thirty km out of lunch. Managed to stay up right on front rim.
Highlights:
- Being warned by truck drivers of lions ahead.
- Great road with wide shoulders.
- Warm showers
- Getting to camp just after noon.
The sights and in-sights are quite spectacular, Morris! Sending love!
