Experience a Tuc Tuc ride through back streets of Giza. Like most cities once you get off the main drag there are many wonderful things to see. I found the people to be as nice or nicer than anywhere I’ve been.
Our first days schedule and directions.
Today is the big day and time to begin. This is the expeditions main truck. Yesterday we loaded all the spares. You can hear the evening call to prayer in the background. Today’s leg will take us past the great Pyramids of Giza.
A warm Egyptian welcome.
Surprise! Who knew that you'd here Jingle Bells in Arabic? So funny!
My bike finally showed up at the Egyptian hotel at 05:00. Now if I can get over the Bronchitis and get the seat post repaired (seatpost is carbon and over tightened), I may have a fighting chance.
A poster at the airport that spoke to me.
Arrived in Egypt via London, but my bike didn't make it. Good time to relax and use patience.
Thank you to Crystal from Spur Cross Cycles who really helped me out. She spent hours making sure my bike was safely boxed for the flight to Egypt.
