My friend Anton, a retired Slovenian businessman, and I stopped at this Mosque in a village. Today was his 60th birthday. A short day but some hills, head winds and traffic. I stopped for coffee and noticed I’d lost my ear phones so had to back track about an hour to look for them, no luck. I started to think about all the things I’m likely to lose on this trip, the news, TV, weight, prejudice, fear and maybe some others and figured it was a token of how attached I can become to things that don’t really matter. Tomorrow is longer day with climbing and first desert camp.
