A light sprinkle turned into a steady rain. The road turned into a river. Sand, mud and water were the theme of the day. Serious technical riding.
Highlights:
- Wet clothes and shoes drying on your back.
- Hot sweet tea with cloves.
- Warm chapati and beans when we were soaking wet.
- Four of us ate for about $2.
- Friendly kids. School with kids streaming out of school house to see a Mazungo (white person in Swahili).
