How do you capture the last day? Last night in a tent? Last lunch stop? Here are a few words.
Living itself, [is] a task of such immediacy, variety, beauty, and excitement that one is powerless to resist its wild embrace.

Emotional was one that jumped up at us all.
A journey that seemed all too long and all to short.
Very easy and very very hard.
I felt very powerful and very weak.
At times very connected and very disconnected.
That where ever I go there I am so best to make friends with myself.
Stripped of phone, TV, Internet and left only to myself and the clothes on my back gave me a good chance to get to spend time discovering some of my quirks. Sometimes not pleasant but always amusing.
Thanks for all your support, words of encouragement and patience as some accompanied me on the journey and supported the cause. Until then.
What an honor it was to follow your journey, Morris! I am speechless at the breadth of your undertaking. Saying “congratulations” seems so inconsequential. And yet I have witnesses your introspection and growth that came with each mile. THAT has been the real journey! You are a force to be reckoned with and I am proud to call you a friend. So very, very well done!
Gail said it best – congratulations is just too trite! Thank you for taking the time out of your adventure to share it with us. To experience even a little of your journey has been a delight. Metta, my friend!
An amazing journey that you took all of us along with such wondrous photos, real feelings & emotions, and a story needing telling!
So glad for you and the children at STEP who will benefit from your fund raising.
Our congratulations and on-going prayers upon you completion of Tour d’Afrique and start the next leg of your life’s journey.
We await your return and time together back here in Arizona…………………….Steve & Judy
